Located in the exciting city of Berlin, Germany, our highly motivated team originates from three different continents and from diverse backgrounds such as Physics, Product and Quality Management, Data Science, Human Sciences, Software Development, Finance and all flavors of Engineering. If dedication to your job is measured in times you wear the company hoodie to the office, our level is pretty high. So is the coffee consumption, which is hand brewed and treated as a science itself.
I believe in 'healthy life' as a key to enriching human life. My interest in the health sector led me to DiaMonTech's innovative solutions for diabetes care. Fascinated by their contribution to a healthier, happier life for people, I felt compelled to join as an intern. I thrive in the positive synergy created with my knowledgeable colleagues and am delighted to participate in DiaMonTech's journey.
DiaMonTech is an exciting work environment, where natural sciences, hardware design, software development and machine learning all synergise towards a shared goal with true meaning. Here, I get to put into use a great share of my skills in physics, bioengineering and data science to contribute to the development of complex technology to enable non-invasive blood glucose monitoring. Ultimately, knowing that my work can impact people’s lives for the better is paramount, a strong drive on its own.
I enjoy that there are many interesting problems to solve with software where I can also apply my physics background. It’s great to be surrounded by friendly colleagues with diverse knowledge who are always eager to share. Whenever I interact with people with diabetes, it reinforces the idea that our product will improve lives.

Werner is a professor of biophysics at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He has over 30 years of experience with spectroscopy. He is also an expert in analyzing and detecting molecules like glucose. Werner invented our technology and he is one of the co-founders of DiaMonTech.
Thorsten is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully built, developed, and sold several companies. He is a computer engineer with an MBA and a specialization in medical software.
Sergius is the COO and links the scientific with the business parts. He is a physicist and has experience with startups in health and the fintech/event industry.
Michael is a physicist with expertise in regulatory and public affairs for medical technology. For DiaMonTech, he drives the scientific progress and takes care of regulatory questions.
Catalina is Head of Marketing with 8 years of experience in different health and science focused startups. She focuses on public relations and communications, corporate branding and product marketing.
Azzurra is a certified trainer for intercultural competence and works as a life coach. At DiaMonTech, she's in charge of office management and further administrative tasks, and she helps shape HR.
Luca is a data scientist with experience in both academia and industry. He works on all data aspects, ranging from predictive modeling to acquisition and validation.
Mattia is a physicist with a background in infrared spectroscopy of biomolecules. At DiaMonTech, he runs the optical lab and is part of the R&D team.
Yiğit is an electronics engineer with over a decade of professional experience, focused on mixed-signal ASIC design in image sensors and bendable sensor systems.
Pip has a background in physics and chemistry research, scientific equipment design, and full stack software development.
Berend is an economist, responsible for the financial matters at DiaMonTech. He is a skilled finance manager with many years of experience both in the start-up scene as well as in the NGO-sector.
Daniel combines his industry experience in mechanical engineering with a passion for developing electronic systems to create integrated hardware solutions.
Lars is an experienced physicist, entrepreneur, and full-stack software engineer. He has been building scientific and commercial software since 2010. Passionate about open-source, he has founded his own EdTech company. At DiaMonTech, he oversees the software development.
Nikita is a software engineer with experience in developing desktop and mobile clients and services in microservice architecture of backend.
Bilal has 5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design and circuit simulation, as well as EMC and regulatory affairs of medical devices.
Martin is an engineer with multiple years of experience developing electronics for optical/spectrometer applications and has a background in systems engineering.
Alexander is a physicist with a background in semiconductor nanophotonics and modeling. At DiaMonTech, he strengthens the research and development team.
Valentino is a physicist and engineer, with a background in condensed matter and biological physics and industry experience in machine learning and data science. At DiaMonTech he works as data scientist, bridging R&D and Software departments.
