Data Scientist Working Student

(m/f/X)

- to join our company in Berlin.

What you will do:

The position should start in October 2025 and last 6 months to a year, with 80 hours per month.


• Work alongside data scientists, physicists, hardware and software engineers to solve multi-disciplinary challenges;

• Analyze spectroscopy data, using signal processing and machine learning techniques, like signal decomposition techniques, SVR, PLSR and neural networks;

• Optimize predictive models (e.g. via hyperparameter tuning) or investigate feature importance;

• Use state-of-the-art frameworks and technologies.

What you will bring to the table:

• Completed university courses that cover machine learning (please list them in your application);

• Experience working with Python, e.g. on a longer project or course work during at least a semester;

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken;

• Currently enrolled in a German university and having at least 2 years completed;

• Already living in Berlin, holding a valid EU work permit.

Plus points, the more the merrier:

• Practical experience in developing machine learning applications;

• Interest for the MedTech industry.
