• Product Leadership: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, aligning technical development with user needs and regulatory requirements;
• Technical Development: Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of spectroscopy hardware/software, collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, software, hardware, and clinical experts);
• Requirement Specification and Testing: Work closely with management, researchers, and engineering teams to create product related requirements and verification/validation tests. Translate science and research into actionable specifications;
• Partner Collaboration: Work closely with external service providers, suppliers and manufacturing partners to facilitate product realization;
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the product meets medical device regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, IEC 60825, etc.) and quality standards.
• Education: Degree in Physics, Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Optical, or related), or a comparable field;
• Experience: 3+ years in product development for medical devices, ideally with spectroscopy, optical sensors, or diagnostic equipment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware/software co-development and product/project management. Familiarity with regulatory processes for medical devices;
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Languages: Fluency in English.
• An advanced degree in one of the mentioned fields is a plus.
• Experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role is a plus.
• Passion for innovation in healthcare.
• Experience in the MedTech sector.
• Fluency in German (nice to have).
