Senior Experimental Physicist

- to join our company in Berlin.
• Research activities: Experiment with novel laser technologies, do a variety of in-vitro and in-vivo data taking studies, translate scientific research into product specifications and extend the current state of the art knowledge about complex sensing methods;
• Technical Development: Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of spectroscopy hardware/software, collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, software, hardware, and clinical experts);
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with management, researchers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable development plans;
• Data Analysis: Create and execute measurement plans to collect, aggregate and analyze small and big data deducing underlying correlations.
• Education: Degree in Physics, Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Optical, or related), or a comparable field;
• Experience: Experience in optical spectroscopy, optical sensors, and lasers;
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware/software co-development, signal processing, and data analysis;
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Languages: Fluency in English.
• An advanced degree in one of the mentioned fields is a plus.
• Passion for innovation in healthcare.
• Experience in the MedTech sector.
• Fluency in German (nice to have).
